On a journey to become Europe's best regional airline
We are Norra — a Finnish airline providing safe, high-quality regional flying for other airlines with agility, responsibility, and heart. Our 750+ professionals form a close-knit team built on trust, adaptability, and pride in our work.
We don’t sell tickets — we focus on doing our job better every day and giving our people the space to grow.

Excellence in Safety and Reliability
Safety, high quality, and exceptional punctuality are at the core of everything we do. As a flexible operator on regional routes, we adapt quickly and embrace new ways of working.
We’re proud to be a trusted partner to Finnair and to play a key role in keeping Finland connected. At Norra, we grow together, stay inspired — and deliver, no matter what.
Our Fleet
At the core of our business is a fleet of 24 aircraft, which allows us to offer our customers flexibility and efficiency on short flights across Europe, while maintaining important connections for our society.
We operate 12 ATR 72 turboprop aircraft, perfectly suited for short regional flights with a seating capacity of 68 or 70 passengers. On routes with slightly higher passenger numbers or longer distances, we fly 12 Embraer 190 jet aircraft, each with 100 passenger seats.

A Journey Through Norra’s History
1993
Norra is founded on November 10, 1993, under the name Etelä-Pohjanmaan Lentokeskus Oy. Based in Seinäjoki, the airline begins its operations with charter flights using Cessna 402B and Mitsubishi MU-2 aircraft.

We begin operating flights in Finland on behalf of the Swedish airline Golden Air. Our name changes to Finncomm Airlines.

Danish airline DAT A/S becomes our majority owner with a 60% share. Finnair Plc remains a minority shareholder with a 40% stake. We start cabin upgrades for our ATR 72 fleet.
